Overview
The Goods-to-Man robotic solution based on mobile storage
The innovative Scallog® “Goods-to-Man” automated storage solution is based on a system of autonomous robots and mobile shelves designed to make warehouses more scalable and efficient.
Products are brought directly to operators for picking. Unnecessary movements are eliminated and storage space optimized.
Scallog delivers logistics of the future, incorporating the latest generation automated storage and recovery (ASRS) systems.
Coordination between the operators and the mobile robots optimizes your warehouse productivity.
Robotizing logistics eliminates low-level, repetitive tasks. It ensures optimized employee productivity and order reliability. You will increase your operating efficiency and reduce your operating costs.
There is no need to change your infrastructure, the Scallog solution integrates seamlessly into your warehouse. Automation ensures your long-term logistics performance.
The Scallog system’s ease of installation and use guarantees a low level of capital investment and immediate operating efficiency.
A key to success in a developing business is the anticipation and creation of agile, adaptable infrastructure and logistics.
Our dynamic storage solution is unrivalled: its extensive modularity enables complex and growing requirements to be met.
How it works
The Scallog System is a simple, scalable automated order picking system for the intelligent management of storage, replenishment and inventory:
- The solution is based on on-demand handling: the Scallog SystemTM supervisor plans the routes of the Boby robots.
- The mobile robots move into position under the shelves then transport them to the workstations.
- Operators withdraw the number of products indicated by the Scallog SystemTM software without having to move from their workstation.

Scallog
Workstation
This is the exchange zone between the secure storage area and the order pickers.
It comprises a computer station, Spot-to-light indicator and order buffer rack.
Error-free picking, replenishment, inventory reallocation, audit and inventory counting operations are undertaken here in real time
Elle assure des opérations de picking, réapprovisionnement, réaffectation de stocks ou d’audit et d’inventaire en temps réel sans erreur.
Order buffer rack
The order buffer rack is used once picking is complete, to store orders prior to dispatch
Boby robot transporting a Scallog shelf unit
The Boby robot can lift up to 600 kg. It is managed by the Scallog System, which analyzes and selects the best route to enable the robot to locate the storage shelf unit containing the items required for an order and return it to the picking station as quickly as possible. Its charging process is fully autonomous, optimizing management of its operating and charging periods
Scallog shelves
Safely stores products on both sides on levels that can be adjusted.
Modular and can be configured to suit your storage requirements and cater for each product type. Filled during replenishment and emptied during picking.
Remplies lors de l’opération de réapprovisionnement et vidées au cours du picking.
